Price?

Since even the cheapest 4k Sony TV is $2,099...

I expect this to be quite expensive as well...

The old Sony 4k player is 700 dollar.. should be in the same price range.. maybe a bit cheaper

I'll wait until a 4K disc player comes out. Can't stream 4K movies anyway.
It looks nice, but I wish they would hurry up with the disc format.

I hope Sony sticks with the clean designs like this, the PS4, and the Xperia phones. As much as I love my PS3, it's a damn ugly machine, imo

Nice, now where is my 4K/3D firmware update for my PS4.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

I cannot see 4K being a common thing for another decade or so, much like HD has gone through its transition the past decade.

I would have jumped into 4K already if the BDA would have gotten it's thumbs out of their assess and had HDMI 2.0 and 4K blu-ray specs ready 2 years ago.

For example LG 55" 4K 3D 240hz LED IPS panel, awesome tv for less than I paid for my first 1080p LCD tv. However not HDMI 2.0 compatible, plus no 4K blu-ray players or discs yet. My internet isn't ready for streaming 4K. I guess it's better to be patient this time instead of get stuck with the equivalent of a bunch of useless HD-DVDs.
