If you like Dark Souls/Demon Souls, get a NES and play Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. It's the hardest most challenging and different game in the series. I love that game.

I didn't play one myself till I got a Wii U. Windwaker is a great game. I would definitely recommend a Wii U Zelda bundle if they still do them. I'll get around to the others eventually

As others said, start with the 3DS and get both Ocarina of Time and Link Between Worlds.

From there, get a Wii so you can get both GC and Wii Zelda games, as well as Virtual Console Zelda games.

If you liked Phantom Hourglass then pretty much anything will impress you.

Try the CD-i games. I heard they're an... interesting adventure. (Or don't and try A Link Between Worlds.)

I love how this thread is basically a "convert OP to share my opinions" thread. When someone posts something nice about one game, someone else has to jump in and say "NO! Stop! This is reality!", or else their world is crushed.
