Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I never played a Zelda game in my life.

What do ?

Kill yourself. 112 31.37%

Buy a N64. 32 8.96%

Buy a Gamecube. 11 3.08%

Buy a Wii. 28 7.84%

Buy a WiiU. 125 35.01%

Zelda is bad, don't play it. 48 13.45%

Total:356

Except for Phantom Hourglass, I literally never touched a Zelda game... And I really think I should. But where to start ? There's so many of them...

And I only own a DS and a 3DS. What do ? Buy a WiiU and wait for them to be released on the Virtual Console (I live in Europe) ? Buy a Wii ? A GC ? A N64 ?

Any advice ?

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

Play A Link to the Past.

Then stop.

It worked for me.

Well, I dunno. I'm really interested in Majora's Mask, Twilight Pincess, Wind Waker, etc...

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Anyway play the older ones first, they are the best. A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time are the very best. If you like those two then feel free to try the rest.

By the way there is no need to play them in order as the stories are self contained. There is an official time-line and all but it's bullshit.

except for Phant....AM I READING THIS RIGHT!?

Get Ocarina of Time for 3DS. Then, you will be able to call your pitiful existence "a life".

Phantom Hourglass is one of the worst Zelda games...

You can buy Ocarina of Time 3D and A Link Between Worlds on 3DS. There are also Zelda 1 & 2 and some handheld Zeldas to download.

Or you can play every home console Zelda on Wii U (Wii U and Wii mode).

You have a 3DS. First play A Link Between Worlds, then Ocarina of Time 3D. If you decide to get a Wii U instead, Wind Waker is the greatest Zelda ever created, and everything else will feel like a let down after that.

Get a Wii(one with backwards compatibility for Gamecube), you can get the compilation disks and play Zelda 1/2, Ocarina of Time and Phantom Hourglass (edit:) Majoras Mask(my favorite!). You can also play Windwaker, Four Swords, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. You will miss out on the fantastic GB/GBC and SNES games(I think the Wiiware store shut down) but you can get those if you ever get a 3DS or Wii U.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
