I can't believe, not a single piece of Nintendo software <_<

It's almost like the Wii generation never happened. Nintendo have just been wiped from the public consciousness in the UK.

Good Titanfall sales, hoping this could lead to a bit of a resurgence of Scifi themes in video games.

I'm also guessing the TF bundle is helping the X1 version a lot. At least 80% of bundles sold must be TF bundles, you've got to be stupid to pick up a Solus model at the moment.

You're right! Damn, I'm wondering how Nintendo is going to end the financial year....

Once you entered you won't be the same anymore. A blog about life.

I expected this to happen sometime this year, but I wasn't expecting it this week.  Layton really dropped like a rock.  16th to out of the top 40, and only fourth on the 3DS chart.  If we go back to the same week in 2008 there were 12 Wii titles and 11 DS titles.  From nearly 60% of the chart to 0% in six years.  They also had 8 of the top 10 that week.  I feel like the Wii will be a case study in business classes about how not to manage a brand.

I might be missing something, but it looks like there is nothing out till May for both the 3DS and Wii U.  We might see more weeks of this if Pokemon can't sneak back in.

They probably didn't expect Microsoft to slash £80 off the price of the console and give the game away for free.

Irrelevant.

There are 8.7m 360 owners and 450k ONE owners.  Assuming all those ONE owners were 360 owners that leaves 8.3m 360 owners to go at.

I wouldn't say it's irrelevant. Anyone who wanted an X1 and bought it in the last couple of weeks will have gotten TF for free, even if they had absolutely no interest in it. That means at least a portion of the X1's TF sales exist simply because it was free, an advantage the 360 version doesn't have.

Without knowing what % of those TF purchases were actually due to genuine interest and what % of them were due to there currently being little choice on the next gen consoles, we can't know what actual impact it had. I'd say there are enough variables to make a direct comparison with the 360 version pretty pointless.

Really though, you should know better than to compare anything based on install bases right now. We all know how silly that it this early in the gen, considering how hugely inflated the attachment ratios are and how the majority of early gen sales are from more avid gamers whose buying habits tend to vary quite a bit from standard customers. Buying a new console for a better version of the same game might make sense to them, but that doesn't mean it would to the rest of the world :p

Nintendo should definitely be in panic mode now, no games in there..
And among all the vita games I thought they would chart, Football Manager comes out of nowhere.

The other piece of news missing is the ratio for TF, 71% were on X360. Good job anyway. I:SS is dying faster than you'd think it would.

Omgfootballmanager.

Honestly, my expectations have become so low for Vita software these days that just seeing something chart seems like a success.

But yeah, good for it.  Shahid did well securing this game.  Looks like we may well have a new yearly reskin franchise to go alongside FIFA.

Sales might even have some legs when the bundle comes (it's not out yet, right?)

Aside from that, 360 really benefiting from the holidays and retailer promotions huh?

Surprised at the lack of Nintendo too.  They normally at least sneak a Pokemon in.

titanfall 360 finally drops,be interesting to see how it does compared to the One
some good xbox chart domination
