So I'm starting to get into PS1 collecting, but I didn't have the console when I was a kid so I don't have many games for it and know like nothing about the gems on the console, so I need some recommendations to get me going.

Klonoa, Ape Escape, Silent Hill, and Megaman X4 still stand the test of time i think.
Resident Evil series is also good, but the tank controls really get to me lol.

I Highly Recommed Legend of Dragoon. It is a first party sony game! Has many fans :D

Squaresoft games. (i.e. Vagrant Story, Legend of Mana, Threads of Fate, Chrono Cross)

There is also Legend of Dragoon. I've yet to play this but people say it's really good.

For other genres, Castlevania, Mega Man X4, Tomba, Gex, Silent Hill and much more.
