NSMBU

MK needs to catch up with it and continue to outsell it. The Wii-u is not and will not sell fast enough to make this possible. MK did so good on Wii because it was best game for motion.
MK has never been the best selling game on its respective platform.

Mario Kart 8 because it's a sales beast. It's also going to shift A LOT of hardware too. I'm expecting the Wii U to have an installed userbase over 7m before the end of June.

Mario kart 8. even if no MK bundle comes imedeately (increasing nsmbu sales because of the current bundle), MK is too much of a beast and will take the lead.

U was a great game, but people were kind of burnt out, thanks mostly to NSMB2 launching on 3DS WAY to close to Wii U's launch, on the 2D Mario thing. Whereas people are genuinely excited about Mario Kart, and only one MK seems to ever launch (which is good) per system. There will inevitibly be a MK8 bundle, but even if there wasn't, MK8 would still soar in sales regardless.

MK8 will blow all previous Wii U games to date out of the water, for a plethora of reasons.

there's only one 2d mario per system too.

Mario Kart because it is awesome! But seriously I think so because it was so and it will be so.
