interesting. i'm kind of let down that it's breaking free from human history, but that being said i thought it wouldn't make sense to just straight up do another Civ sequel. i thought Civ V was more or less perfect. but there is potential. specifically the strategy in regards to the beginning expedition sounds cool. i hope it's good.

I probably won't be able to play it when it comes out (I have a number of Civ 5 campaigns on the giant Earth map that crash the game once I get too many cities) but I will probably be looking for a new laptop in 2015 so I might use this game as a benchmark.

Looks interesting and great. I still haven't played much of Civ 5 though. I like the concept.

Yes! Finally! This will probably force Steam upon be yet again so I won't buy it at launch (or rather until it's dirt cheap) but I'm definitely looking forward to this.

No doubt it will hit PS4 and X1.

But it will be like Civ Revolutions on X360.  A lot of fun sure, but nowhere near the wonder of PC versions.
