Forums - Gaming Discussion - Why did the announcement of The Crew next gen parity not get nearly as much attention as the Trials Fusion disparity?

I think people are getting tired of the resolution arguments anyways. It's clear that the PS4 will have better looking multiplats this gen. We didn't have a discussion for every game that performed better on the 360 than the PS3.

In the first year after PS3 released? I think we did have a thread about the difference for nearly every game.

Parity is nothing special when it's just 1080p30. Whe had that before. Now if it were 1080p60 on both that would be news worthy.

Also parity at 1080p30 is a downer because it means PS4 isn't running at full potential. Trust me, this parity will be a big topic again if the X1 dips and the PS4 not ;)

Maybe because we know what an AAA parity means ps4 is gimped, while a indie with this difference is crazy.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

because developers who gimp games for the sake of parity dont deserve attention.

Trials was hyped as an Xbox 360 arcade game in the past. It was built off of Microsoft hype. Any sequel will share in the benefits.

Because it was a MS Studios game, now its a Ubisoft game. Not sure why its being sold in Retail for $40 though.

Microsoft never owned the IP, they just paid for the development no different than Gears. It wasn't a Microsoft studios game but rather a Red Lynx game and whoever wanted to publish it published it. Ubisoft Published the PC version of Trials HD.

I'm telling you why it was hyped as an Xbox 360 arcade game. Because it was a MS studios game like many of the arcade games on the 360. I didn't say they developed or owned it, but it still was a Microsoft Studios game.
