Forums - Gaming Discussion - Trials Fusion runs at 1080p/60 on PS4, 900p/60 on Xbox One

"Trials Fusion hits Wednesday for the PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 (and PC on April 24), and developer RedLynx promises that it runs at a smooth 60 frames per second on all of those systems. It will not, however, run at the same resolution. Ubisoft has confirmed to GamesBeat that Fusion will run at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One. Those numbers refer to the number of horizontal lines the game is rendering for every frame of animation."

With all respect, but when games like Trials don't run 1080p/60FPS, it's time to worry.

Seriously?? This is a PSN/Live title.

It's obvious what the problem is here. Lazy developers!

Poor Xbox. LOL If this is the case then the Xbox One is really going to chug when Witcher 3 comes out.

100% agree. I hope it's poor optimization......please...

Nehhh, Hopefully dx12 will turn on the secret sauce so stuff like this doesn't happen anymore with live titles

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

glad im getting disc edition on ps4

pretty funny that the article (in the non-quoted parts) highlights the difference in Ram instead of mentioning the difference in GPU power when discussing why there is a difference between X1 and PS4 versions of multiple games

one could say that this is the optimization to achieve the 100% stable 60fps this game needs for optimal gameplay

Lol this is getting embarrasing. At least it is not some weird resolution like 792p.

Obvious power differences apart, this is a case of poor optimization, I mean come on, it's a 2,5D game for crying out loud. Also the PC requirements are crazy high so that's probably not a coincidence.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!
