A lot of people (i mean people in the internet) say they dont like USA and the people who live in there... the AMERICANS

But it is amazing how much people are trying to go to the USA to have opportunities or for a "better life."

I have been living in USA for more than 3 years now, and I couldn't complain (maybe the traffic).

Do you actually like america? would you like to travel here? would you move here if you are given an opportunity?

I love how diverse people here in the US especially in the Los Angeles area.  it seems like every street here have their own culture and taste from different country.  Few blocks aways from my work is little ethiopia, few blocks to the west is farsi community, i work with a lot of jews, my bf is chinese, some of my friends are filipino, mexican community close to home, a lot of scandinavian a few blocks from my home, etc etc etc

I don't know where the hate is coming from. Is most hate coming from politics? majority of americans doesn;t even agree on those (even if they vote for it)

So why do you not like USA or americans?

I like everybody, I don't like to generalizing. But if I have to choose a country to visit, that would be Japan.
US is meh to visit, but I wouldn't mind to live there.

Do I like Americans?

-Sure, why not? They didn't harm me, so why hate on them?

Would I like to travel there?

-Hell yeah! A trip through the USA is mandatory and I'm sure gonna go there within the next 10 years or so, I love travelling.

Would I want to live there?

-Meh, not necessarily, but opinions change so who knows?

In fairness, it's worth noting that the place is about the size of a continent, so your experience will vary widely between being in New York vs. Wisconsin vs. Texas vs. Washington vs. California. For example, the ethnic diversity and culture you're seeing in LA will NOT be replicated if you go east of the Sierras, or even just a few miles east to Central California: get to the Midwest and nearly everyone is ethnically European. I happen to love where I live, but I'd probably be miserable in large chunks of the country.

Basically, it's a YMMV situation, even more so than a lot of other countries (which are of course not uniform either!)

Not sure, maybe somewhere on the west coast like San francisco. Being honest, I've got no clue at the moment.

San Jose

Do I like the land, the people, etc? Yes, I like it very much. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else (although I also can not imagine living in some places within the United States.) Do I like the government(s)? No.
