I sold mine yesterday, buying ps4 today. XOne and Wii U Doomed, not for how good sony is doing but for how wrong Nintendo and Microsoft played their cards :S

LOL the X1 is long way off from being doomed its still off to a better start then the 360 which released in a lot more regions during its launch period.

You may have not looked at my comment or one that was made earlier in the thread, but this is misleading.

XBone: riding off the success of the 360, which sold like 42M in the US (its undisputed strongest market).

X360: coming out off the original Xbox which didn't do jack, and against the hype of the PS2s successor.

There's different circumstances. But 3 of those 4M XBones that have been sold came off that initial wave riding of the 360. Now the sales have dropped like a rock. You can hang on to the "better than 360 in the same time frame" but from what I remember, 360 was never having 60, 70, 80k weeks, 5 months after launch. They were always much better. So while the raw number of 4M sold in 5 months is higher than whatever 360 sold in that time, when the vast majority of those sales happened at launch, riding off the hype of succeeding a very successful console, but it hasn't sold much since, you can't really say it's "off to a better start" than the 360 when the 360 sold consistently well throughout, not extremely well for a few weeks, then dropping off drastically afterwards.

I guess you haven't looked at sales numbers lately sales haven't dropped off like a rock and the console is moving software which is its main purpose.

MS better show up at E3 with heavy hitters. It is going to be crucial. As an owner of both 1 and 4 I def hope they do. I guarantee you Sony is going to.

The fact that it went from 155k to 85k in 2 weeks tells me differently. And it's probably gonna be less next week.

It sold 3M in the launch period, and only 1M in the 3.5 months since. If that's not dropping off, I don't know what is (it was having 67k weeks prior to TF, bundling and price cuts and it's heading right back in that direction). At this pace, the XBone will be at less than 8M by the end of the year (X360 did 8M by the end of 2006)

What bugs me are Wii U apologists who are trying to pretend the Xbox One is doing as badly as the Wii U. I have both, but I can tell the difference between 14,000 and 66,000.

The Xbox One isn't doing as bad as the WiiU. But where did you get 66k vs. 14k?

usa numbers i think. XBox One is doing 4 times as good as wii u in northa america! go xbox!

Again its moving sofware which is the main purpose of a console and when it comes to software tie ratio its actually ahead of the PS4 by a decent amount.   Plus MS will announce a ton of games at E3 its way too early to predict how many units it will sell by the end of the year.

This argument is about as bad as the argument that its making money so who cares if it gets demolished in sales.

Its not getting demolished in sales again its selling software at a better rate then the PS4 and its ahead of the 360 in sales during the same time span after lauch and it hasn't been released in all regions yet.  Plus MS will announce a ton of games at E3.  Also a temporary sales price isn't the same thing as a price cut the X1 official price is still $499.99 and most retailers still sell it for that price.

Sorry XBox fans but it is unfortunately very true.

Here, I provide proof.

Of course Xbox one software tie ratio would be higher, its being bundled with a game at the same price as the stock console and even has price drops in stores around. The PS4 bundles on the other hand are priced higher than the non bundled version and the bundles are only available in select stores or countries. As for the OT, its probably because of the sales in europe that are really low per week. I dont think this has to much do with its sales in US but clearly the rate of sales of PS4
in comparison to xbox ones rate is quite alarming. If not for titanfalls launch, i dont know where the sales of xbox one could have been. Microsoft needs to pull off another titanfall hype level in E3 (just show Halo gameplay and thats all the xbox one gamers need)
