when they dont have a certain release date, usually, they put the limit date.
so it can be launched early.

Lets be real this was going to be the worst selling version...but with the extra time they can make something really special with the pad, so if you were dead set on buying the Wii u version whats a couple of months?

They will keep pushing the game further and further until the release date is Fall of 2034.

Better cancel it. OH, they will do it, maybe.

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

The more I think about it I think Ubisoft was smart not to release it with the other versions considering most WiiU owners will be enthralled with Mario Kart 8 at that time. That being said I really hope they use the Gamepad to its potential. So many possibilities for a game like this. Also, please don't insult us with a $59.99 retail price.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

If you check Wii and Wii U sales, you will see that they are more seasonal than any of others consoles, so it makes financial sense to put it on sale for fall (october-november) to take advantage of the end of the year boost, as the console is also not affected as much for the yearly Call of Duty edition, since the game is not as popular and people buy more varied stuff.

Why is it delayed in the first place..
These company's have shady deals going on with wii u games then they are surprised when they dont sell.

I've heard whispers that the Oracle has seen those companies resurrect Merlin to use the dark artes to directly hamper the release dates of WiiU games.

Stay on your guard brother.

It would have been a great game to have in the DK to Mario Kart drought, but a release on May 27th would have gotten lost in the Mario Kart hype anyway and I'll be playing that game for months. So, Fall 2014 isn't bad, I was expecting Winter. I just hope it doesn't get cancelled, and that may depend on how the other platforms sell.

Some devs have to work on the exclusive PS4 and PS3 content and that's why they don't have enough resources to get the Wii U version finished in-time

It isn't the same studio working on the Wii U version that is working on the other versions.

I wasn't really serious with my post.

Well, I'll still be buying it.

I'd rather take a version on a system that I enjoy using, with 2nd screen mechanics that make sense than fork out >£400 for a new system.

You're talking about PC right? Because neither PS4 nor X1 cost more than £400 including the game.

Asda just dropped x1 to £350 so plus this game thats ........ £400 so where is it cheaper?

Earlier than I expected.

They should include a unlockable GamePad instead of the smartphone in the Wii U version. It would be hilarious. With idle animations playing Rayman Legends, Assassin's Creed or Splinter Cell.

I'll get the PC version for a few Euros in late summer after a few patches (it's already at 25 Euros and I have to play MK8 at Watch Dog's launch). And I'll get the Wii U version if it has good GamePad features. But serioiusly, it's so obvious what to do with the GamePad, they almost can't mess it up.
