The game is horrible, go play the one on GBA and you will see why.

Best Mario Tennis ever.
People complaining about shitty superficial Rpg mode loss are ridiculous.
I own Mario tennis in all Nintendo consoles and this is easily the best. The customization, the minigames, the online and beautiful presentation are here, controls are perfect and the new mechanics balance the matches wisely.
for me its a real 8/10
a must have for all Mario and/or sports fan

I loved this game! Got all the trophies, or stars...? for each character. Put over 70 hours into the game as well. Can't wait for Mario Golf because of this! Wish they would have made a soccer, or football game for 3DS though.

It really felt inferior compared to Power Tennis and the original game. Can't put my finger on why, just felt much more repetitive.

I really liked it! But then...I'm a huge tennis fan. That being said, most of the complaints were that it was like a "console" Mario Tennis game without the RPG/Story-mode that people had come to expect from the handheld iterations of the series. Also, the game's online mode is pretty limited.

Actually i have just come back from my holiday and i bought mario tennis 3DS to take with me. Ive found it to be the perfect game for a handheld, its great for short burstsof gameplay ( when needing to kill 20-30 mins) and is very addictive.

Btw its at 770,000 sold according to Chartz.

The game was good, but it was inferior to the GC game imo.
The mini games were fun for an hour, but there was no real motivation to keep playing.
I also think there was no online multiplayer (?).
