Are those numbers after the big layoffs?

Well you don't need a huge team to make a momentous game. Respawn has a fairly small but well experienced team. I think it's like 100 people or less including office staff.

The layoffs weren't that big, just largely publicized. Other than the SSM one (which was due to the cancelled game), they were all relatively small and spread out among various under performing studios, as is expected during a restructuring.

I agree with what you say though, you don't need huge teams to create great games. Naughty Dog is composed of 2 teams of about 125ish each, which isn't much bigger than the team behind TF, yet they have one of the best track records in the industry.

Around the Network

I also should have also added split screen mp games. Because most of sony's mp games aren't split screen and that's what gets to me. I would have played kz sf way way more if it had split screen mp same with last of us and even titanfall. I hate that there is no splitscreen in most of sony's games while halo, gears, pvz garden warfare all have split screen.

Also I should mention, with the ps4 Sony has been pushing social features a lot so it invalidates a lot of what you guys were saying. Also:

I smell something good cooking up :D

I praise Sony for not making MP games a priority.
