Forums - Sony Discussion - Vita Tv and Vita TV.

Since there is no Vita TV in the United States why is there still no regular Vita to HDMI functionality on the regular model? That is a function that should have been there day one and one of my biggest problems with the Vita. Am I missing something here or is there still no way to HDMI the Vita in the US?

I'm hoping for this as well cause I wanna play my portable games on my TV :O

For a moment I thought you were one of those people that mock others for wanting to play "portable" games on a TV haha. Agreed, all handhelds should have this function. It's unacceptable that they do not.

Vita TV is lightning in a bottle, it just has to be handled the correct way. IMHO, If MS had something like Vita TV in the states, it would utterly dominate, (assuming it removed that archaic paywall)

Me too, I want to connect my handhelds on my TV =/

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I feel like Sony slapped every PSP/Vita fan that wanted HDMI support. I don't care how horrible the Vita is doing in the West. Completely disrespectful that it is still absent. I supported the hell outta the psp and enjoyed it's crappy HDTV support.

I was under the impression you could take the Vita display and make it link up with the Ps3 to make it so P4G could be on the TV or is it only the other way around? :o.

You cannot do this with any Vita game.  Also remote play on the PS3 is really rare and not very functional.  Every PS4 game can be played on the Vita, but it only goes that way.  The Vita cannot play on a TV screen.  At least not the original OLED Vita.  I have never used a newer model.

I'm trying to figure out if the Japanese Vita TV can play Monster Hunter Unite. I want to play the English version in HD. I've seen that the Vita TV can play some English Vita games, but I cannot find any information regarding Unite on Vita TV. It's my dream to play MHFU on an HDTV. I love that game so much. If it can I will import it.
