What a great game! I just purchased it and wow, was that scary! Every corner, the silence. The necromorphs.

Agree, I think it was one of the best games of last generation, that atmosphere it generates was unrivaled in my experiences. Had all the tension of a sci-fi horror movie but you couldn't close your eyes for any of it haha.... the sequels get some real horror going tho.... 12 euro to buy ammo and a suit upgrade in the 3rd one, gotta love EA.

Really good, really terrifying game. I'd place only the original Silent Hill ahead of it in terms of scare factor.

It was also that i didn't expect much from this game. But from the first moments it caught me and also the oxygen pieces.

And of course not much upgrades to find. Wow.

The original Dead Space was such a good game! Too bad the franchise got EA'd with Dead Space 3!

For people flaming dead space 3 : tell me another survival horror of last generation that was better...

Dead space 1 and 2, I loved how you didn't have to pay for bullets or pay to not have to wait 10 mins for a bot to return with supplies...

Yeah. Great game. Unfortunately, loses its scare factor after the first playthrough. 9/10 from me.

Resident Evil Remake is still the scariest game of all time. Disagree? You haven't played Invisible mode and One Dangerous Zombie mode. :D

I enjoyed resident evil 1-4 , zero and code veronica , but last generation resident evil  5 & 6 played 30 minutes and abandoned them for later time, not worthy of franchise name.

Dead Space 1 was amazing. Beautiful, scary, nice story, everything in this game was good.
Dead Space 2 was different, but still very good, and pretty scary.
Dead Space 3 is nothing like a "Survival Horror". It's an action game with a poor story (the actual ending is a 10$ DLC, by the way), and it's not even remotely scary.


So yeah, sorry Dead Space 3 fans, you may like the game, but it's a fact: even Silent Hill Homecoming and Downpour were better Survival Horror than Dead Space 3.
