I wouldn't consider the 3ds a console. It's a hand held. There's a reason it's in the handheld section. I think it would be wise for Nintendo to release both of them together

Why? they are not telling lies, they are just showing what is ready and since the 3DS version is coming sooner the modes are almost complete for it, if you consider that the roster is the same and the number of stages is around the same, what do you think they will be working on for the additional 6 months?, they will use the time to add extra stuff, be it game modes, challenges, better online or all of the above.

They really want the Wii U to die, don't they?!

You narrow-minded lot would be saying that if they released simultaneously. I remember this place relentlessly  at the idea of a simultaneous release, proclaiming to the heavens how the 3S would outshine the Wii U version no matter when it released, whether it be before, after, or alongside the 3DS version.

Actually, I think that Emily Rogers author also made like a thesis-long analysis on how it's supposedly bad enough that the Wii U version has a 3DS counterpart in the first place, making it harder for customers to attempt to differenciate. It's honestly people like you and her who sadistically love handing Nintendo a double-edged sword, and that is not likely to change.

If not complaining about one path, it's complaining about another. Saddening, insatiable, and asinine.

But it's still a smart move. The problem here is that they're making a 3DS version, but now that's pointless. The things is, which game does Nintendo have to offer this Christmas to sell the Wii U? Pokémon? Do you think X it's going to sell consoles? Bayonetta 2? The NFC games? Another Mario game? Zelda? No. Those games don't have the great commercial performance that Super Smash Brothers have. Only New Super Mario Brothers and Pokémon games have it, but NSMBU failed, and for known reasons, and Nintendo just doesn't want to release a Pokémon game for home consoles, perhaps due to the high development costs that such a game would require.

And I know many people that are, indeed, waiting for Super Smash Bros. to buy the console, it doesn't matter if it's releasing and first on 3DS as well. Keep in mind that it's going to do an effect anyway, the Wii U version it's now going to do less for the console, but it will help.

This is unsurprising coming from one of a good portion of users who would jump to conclusions instead of having the stones to stop, think, and take all possibilities into consideration.

Or at least message me why I do what I do instead of insinuating that I act like a child instead of conforming to some kind of instigating / click baiting motive.

My actions are justified by 2 things:

1) The repetitious assertations made onto this site that can be deemed as never-ending, but informative. Which leads to...

2) The drive to teach friends, acquaintances, and maybe even to a broader audience (not that high-priority on this bit for now) what kind of users you should not strive to be and how they function to prevent replicating their actions.

And although it is rare, a few users who I have called out on their actions here have rectified or acknowledged their mistakes, and that I can appreciate.

Oh, and don't bother asking me where the people I teach are; the majority are not present on this site; as I have told and shown them, the consensus of the users here are set in stone and iron and are near-unwilling to change.

Also, I would not have them be targeted. Better safe than sorry...

So I can expect someone telling me "no one here cares about what you have to say" one day.

Yes, no one here wants to hear it, but I do what I do not for people here; that was an near-impossibility I came to realize, which I why I focus on aiding those outside the site, not those who are not worth the attempt to change (which is why my consensus thought got changed weeks ago).

One more thing, I comment the way I do because to me, it's not acting childish or trolling, it's brutal honesty backed by the actions demonstrated on this site time and time again.

Hmmm... Nintendo preferring 3DS over Wii U.

A handheld gaming device preferred over a console.

That's something you don't see everyday.

If only Nintendo had made the Wii U more third party friendly.....

P.S. I have nothing but superlatives for Nintendo's handhelds. I remember in college years playing Advance Wars and Golden Sun on my GBA. I bought a DS for Advance Wars 2. Unfortunately, Nintendo can't translate that success to its consoles. Namely, Gamecube and Wii U. 

???? they are preffering it over their home console, because there handheld device is MAKING them money. Not to mention the general public prefers 3ds over Wii u. makes alot of sense.

So when exactly do yal think the game will release? Of course a June date right after E3 would be awesomes, but I think late August is more realistic, so we wont really be able to enjoy the game over the Summer, but that's what Mario Kart 8 is for!
