False. The 3DS version was always going to be the gimp version, so it's easy to pick between the two. With the delay, it actually comes into question if the Wii U version is going to be worth the wait. Any Smash fan isn't going to.

This is why the Wii U will never do good. The people in charge of it are fucking morons.

That is the point of spacing the release dates, now some Smash fans are thinking that is not worth the wait and buy the 3DS version, then Nintendo will give more info and show exclusive features for the Wii U game and the same fans will realize that the Wii U game is worth it and will also buy it, so the company earns money twice.

Thus you have people mad. 

The 3DS is cheaper, better supported, and it comes out sooner.  No they don't have to, and they won't.

Am I the only one who thinks the split release was a good idea? 

I for one well get my fix this summer for a new smash game. 

This Winter, I get to play the overall experience of a new smash game from the main console. 

I mean, what's the problem here, that it makes people choose where to play?  In my opinion, I think Smash loses it's magic with the mobile experience.  I can't say how smash for 3ds plays, but it looks like playing on 3ds is like playing brawl with Wiimote controllers.  I will be getting pro controllers for smash wii u. 

And really, if it were not a choice and smash was only on 3ds, would the split be any problem, or would the split be a freakin' miracle.  I certainly don't want to blow my money load on both games at the same time, but now at least I can plan to get both.

If anyone wants the 3ds version over the Wiiu one is because they wont have friends for local play, because the WiiU one will be infinitely better over the 3ds on that

smart to release it on 3ds first but terrible idea in the first place to have it on the 3ds imo

Or they don't feel like spending money on a new console when they can get their SSB fix on the go.

or they dont feel like waitng 6+ months
