Well maybe there wasn't downgrade but the game it's not the big deal, it is a sandbox with a small map and with some details like some shadows "taken out". And it runs at 30fps, if you want to show off graphics then go buy a PC ;)

This doesn't need to be a thread about moderation (however, I will add that after reading that post a few times I could not tell why it had been moderated)

Anyways, the game looks great. I always found it silly for people to complain about "downgrades" even in games like Watch Dogs. Downgrades happen for a reason, possibly to keep the framerate up after some additional effects had been added or something along those lines. As long as the final product looks good, why complain that it looks slightly worse if you are closely inspecting the game. I personally don't get my kicks by walking up to a wall (in game) and complaining about the textures :P

Second Son looks absolutely wonderful, from a graphical and artistic standpoint...thats all that needs to be said

Can I be one of those fanboys? It was downgraded. but not through graphics.

Sony created a heavenly game. Heaven can not be fully accomplished with hardware. Hardware has no soul. To accomplish the true essence of heaven, the body must not be tied down to physical things. It was downgraded to portray what the Gods can fully give us at this point in time.

Wonder if this same post were made about, say, the 3DS, if it would have been moderated.

It got upgraded if use the pics from the article... even the article said it got better but some haters said it was downgraded lol

ghettoglamour was moderated because he is (indirectly) calling people fanboys. Plenty of people's first reactions to this thread, for example, were that Infamous had seen a downgrade.

Negative Nancys where hoping for a downgrade but it didn't happen. Sony didn't need to run their games on a Titan last E3 to trick the buyers

Even though it's in 1080p doesn't mean it's not a downgrade. When I eventually purchase the PS4, I'll get images in the same lighting which are detailed enough to prove whether it's a downgrade or not. Will post my findings if looks like a downgrade otherwise I won't.
