Vita doing great, yay!

Around the Network

61% market share YTD, PS4 is rocking. PSV doing well! :)

Kind off expected. PS4 dropping off a bit after last weeks jump, X1 continuing do drop a little. It will continue a bit next week and by the middle of may, PS4 will probably be passed by Wii for the same period. We need more, big releases.

Vita trying to challenge Xbox 1, with reverse territories, still life in the old dog yet.

What is happening with Vita? Why these Japan numbers? And most of all, why is it selling like that in the rest of the world (it's like 13k outside the main regions)?

Unlike in the west it actually gets a decent stream of third party games in Japan, even if many of them are smaller titles and multiplats, plus the back catalogue is pretty good when you look at it (God Eater 2, FFX HD, Soul Sacrifice, Toukiden, Persona 4 etc.). It's been consistantly doing 25k-30k these past few weeks, and this week Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2 (or whatever it's called) launched with a nice HW boost. Vita's holding its own in Japan on its own merits

Nice to see Vita still rising, if only Sony had made a deal for a GTA spinoff or something similar to push the system in the West the console would actually be in a decent state right now, at least compared to what it has been previously.

PS4 and X1 are decent, but expect both to be undertracked again by a reasonable margin. Is NPD this week or next?

Wii U is pretty stable if I remember previous weeks correctly, people waiting for Mario Kart 8 week hopefully, nothing until then

Decent PS4 sales, another 60k or so added to the gap for them. :)

Also, is NPD this thursday or next? The 10th or the 17th?

I believe they always release on the second Thursday of every month, so the 10th.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Also the VAT increase caused some people to go ahead and buy items.
