Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Titanfall Xbox One Bundle + 12 month XBLG sub $449 @ Target.com

It seems like that even the "GOTG" has not saved the xbone and that March NPD is far from what microsoft was expecting. By the rate this price is tumbling we might soon see the xbone+4games+48months of xbox live for as little as 299.99 dollars.

This is hilarious... when PS4 launched at a lower price point than X1, Sony were smart. Now that X1 is getting pricecuts, MS are desperate :). Can people just be glad that these systems are getting more and more affordable?

It is not desperation... MS wants to close the GAP in US no matter what.

In my opinion... they need that because outside US and maybe UK the war is over... so they needs to hold at least two markets this gen... I guess UK will be on PS4 side but I can see Xbone winning US with PS4 close or vice-versa.

Kind of like "the war" was over when 360 had a lead of some 8mn? PS4 will most likely win this generation but claiming win when not even a year has passed is very premature.

The only difference is that playstation is a global brand whereas the xbone's only chance of success lies within the walls of UK and US. To be frank i think UK is along its way to becoming playstation dominant again so only hope for xbone is US.

Will we have a thread like this, with such desesperation, every time a retail decide to sale the Xone at a promotional price+bundle?

That´s like the third or forth time I see the exactly same argument by the exactly same people that are more interested in treking Amazon EU PS4 shipments than play any games.

Give a break guys. It´s stating to fell pathetic.

You seriously feel that you're in any kind of position to say something like this?

Not only is it absolutely ridiculous to call people on a gaming forum out for discussing gaming rather than playing 24/7, if you yourself regularly post on it as well, but also how many post of yours sounded something like this: "Look the PS4 has been in stock at Amazon for 18 hours now, demand is finally over (subtext: now that pesky little console, whose success is bothering me so much, will finally fall and be rightfully beaten by the one true next gen console)"?

This is a pretty nice deal. If I had the money, I'd probably jump on it.

I don't know what you are trying to say but the PS4 is cheaper to manufacture... a lot cheaper.

No, it´s not... keep trying.

Care to back that up? The only sources we have for this estimate that in fact the PS4 is cheaper to manufacture than the X1, a quick google search is enough to find that out.

Can we hope MS drops make Sony drop price sooner so I can expend less on buying my 8th gen console?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Only way Sony even considers dropping the price, it's if MS drops to $400.

lol @ all the desperation talk from above..you guys are funny

I know right, this is totally the mark of a best selling console. Lowerin the price frantically and packing in their biggest game for free is totally what a successful console does!

Ps4's been 399 since launch.. I guess sony's been desperate from launch for such a low price then huh?

Your logic is so weird dude... just be happy both consoles are getting more affordable for people.

I don't even know how to respond to this. Lol, come on dude, are you serious?

Well... 450,00 + TF + Live makes it 60,00 under PS4... if it get sustained or just morphs into barebone X1 for 400,00 it would have approximately the same final effect on price... don't think it will drop PS4 sales much, but it certainly would raise X1 sales... Personally I think they will start dropping in 2015 IF they can really raise production in a way that the lower margin get justified by big sales and nice profit... Don't think it will come early as in X1 case.
