its all good! Definetly is a great controller. The layout is perfect, it only needs an upgrade

But not as well as it would with a GC controller. |
JoeTheBro said: I like the pro controller much better for 99% of games, but for Smash this is a must. Nothing beats that c-stick for heavy attacks. |
stupid melee - i went through 6 gamecube controllers because of that game. Good times though!

where did you find this?
I actually think people would love such a controller for Smash coming soon. Maybe a limited edition sort of thing.

Because why now? They have all the necessary buttons and then some. |
Maybe because most of us competitive players have been playing with the GC controller for the past 10 years.

GC controller was trash, cstick was as prone to dying as the analog on the n64, I'll take a pro controller over those two any day
It really doesn't need that controller. I see two problems with it:
1 - Analog L/R buttons. Wii U uses digital triggers.
2 - 8-directional analog sticks. Wii U sticks are rounded.
This controller serves no purpose other than pandering to nostalgic GameCube owners. It is no more necessary than a white and blue colored N64 controller.
The U has more than enough controller options already. Man up and learn to play Smash Bros with a new controller.
