DON'T LISTEN TO ONDORE'S LIES

Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

This would be great since FFXV is a stupid button mashing action game and by no means a real Final Fantasy.

Every single (non MMO)FF in the series so far was a button masher. Pretty sure a lot of A and X buttons got worn out thanks to FF games.

Except of course FFXII which played itself even without buttons.

FF XII didn't play itself... That's a trolling comment about the game. You're in control of everything in that game. The player is the one who assigns the gambits. And you can pause the action at anytime to input any commands you want, taking priority over gambits.

Try harder.

I remember setting my gambits, starting a fight with a dragon with lots of HP, then leaving the room for 15 minutes to come back and see it almost defeated.

That's not even trolling because it's the truth. I played FFXII for the longest time of any FFs(200h+ and multiple playthroughs) and if you were trained well and not completely braindead to place gambits you could beat most of the monsters with the left analog stick.

Indeed. People troll 12 and 13 so hard and it only makes me wonder if they've ever played either much.

There's some truth to his statement.  I for instance got to the level 90s by taping the left analoge stick up and leaving my PS2 on over night.

I know this is speculation.

But if the director/team set up who made FFXII made FFXVI - I would be happy :O. FFXII was amazing and I'm hoping they eventually make a game like it again or at least a FFXII HD.

That's exactly how I feel on the matter. It would be good if they made FFXII HD and released it before FFXVI got announced, though.

I would definitely like another FF game directed by Ito. FFVI, IX, & XII are some of my favorites in the series, it would be interesting to see what he comes up with.

I'd prefer Yoshinori Kitase, but Hiroyuki Ito is acceptable. Just keep Toriyama away from the series.

Personally, I hope that Ito's next FF evolves the seamless battle system and Open World of FFXII. That game has gameplay mechanucs that have huge room to evolve into something great.

There, I fixed that for you.  FF XII is already great.

Thanks for the correction.
