New Super Mario Bros. (console versions especially...I'm apparently alone in liking the DS and 3DS versions more...that being said, the whole series is LAZY)

Mario & Luigi series (Paper Mario 1 & 2 FTW!!!)

Luigi's Mansion series

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (I've tried and tried...can't get into it...and I'm a HUGE Zelda fan...LOVE the 3D Zelda games and enjoyed The Minish Cap...even liked Spirit Tracks...and I had a blast with A Link Between Worlds...but multiple tries spaced out over years and this game still does nothing for me...)

Pokemon RPGs (Gen 3 thru Gen 5...LOVE Gen 1, like Gen 2, like Gen 6)

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Metroid series as a whole (2D games AND Prime series)

Upcoming Games To Get

Around the Network

Angry Birds, pretty much anything from Bethesda (especially Fallout 3), the Assassin's Creed series and the Killzone games.

The Mass Effect series is another one, although I do think there are some cool elements in them, they're heavily overrated IMO. And speaking of overrated - definitely the Grand Theft Auto series.

Uncharted

Mass Effect, the story is good but the gameplay itself I find to be rather lackluster.
Killzone, just really bland overall.
Halo Reach and Halo 4, not really memorable games and questionable level design.
DOTA 2, it's a good game but it's just not my cup of tea.

I almost forgot about MGS and FF VI ...

I honestly don't think I dislike many popular games, but if I had to choose, I would go with Mass Effect and Uncharted. I remember playing the original Mass Effect and really liking it. Then I played Mass Effect 2 and felt very let-down by the gameplay and AI of both the enemy and allies. With Uncharted, I see why people like the series, but it just is not much to my liking. It's too slow-paced, with lots of unskippable story sections.

I'm going to be ripped apart for this, but Mario64.

I think it has its moments of genius, but I felt only about half of the main 15 or so levels were good; the rest were barren, the controls were a bit dodgy and the camera was poor. It was a good tech demo for games like Banjo Kazooie though.

FPS as a genre; I used to really like it as a teenager, probably had an overdose at some point.

The game I really disliked, and many loved --- The Last of Us!

I found it very monotonous and simplistic.

I have no gripe about the technical aspects, it's just that the gameplay felt very basic, I really disliked the crafting and upgrade system, the repetitiveness of the levels and numerous other minor or major flaws.

It seems to me that every aspect of the game was handled better in many other games. By about 8th hour I was bored to tears, another room, another drawer full of gears, another ladder or plank to move three feet to the right...

God of War, Mass Effect and InFamous are sooooo boring to me.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
