It wasn't really a fight, more of a much bigger kid sucker punching this kid twice. This isn't some coming-of-age, fight and make up later bullshit.

I have plates and screws from a very similar experience as an adult years ago from repeated kicks. Was a random occurence for no reason whatsoever.  Was not fun at all, and would be waaay tougher to handle as a child. It is a super annoying reconstructive surgery to repair these type of facial injuries as well and took a long time to heal.  I feel bad for him.  If he has any nerve damage from it, the feeling never comes back either...

Coming of age tiffs and even fair fistfighting, to an extent, are often times facts of life, but when an attacker cheaply goes after an innocent to try to ruin or end their life for no reason, it is totally and completely different.

That sucks for that kid.

Sterilization for the attacker and his parents is highly recommended and the kid isnt allowed to wear anything but shitty payless shoes for as long as he attends school.

When the crowd was decribed as 'cheering', I expected more than that to be honest- it felt more like a response of light-hearted shock to me ('oh shit'). Also, was it that first punch that ripped his nose off his face or what? We must be missing something after the end of this footage

The kid should jsut bring taser. Taser his nuts and then pepper spray his eyes while hes holding nuts , then when hes coverign his eyes,, kep stepping and jumping on his till his nuts falls off!

Yeah, that was my impression. The by-standers weren't as animalistic as the story makes it sound. They just acted like typical gormless teenagers.

It's hard to tell because it's not like his nose was literally ripped off. It was just kind of floating around underneath the skin. But I think it was the second punch that did it.

As a (fourth year... one more year left) senior in college, from watching the new waves of freshmen come in year after year, people have been getting systematically worse. Now don't get me wrong, my class was bad with well over half getting kicked out for some reason or another... but a least, in comparison to this years class, they didn't play off of eachothers' thoughts and screw each other over for the simple sake of entertainment... And eh, I'm a humanistic atheist... and religion won't solve this problem because religion teaches segregation by shunning those who do certain things and juvee won't solve this problem because, both in and out, they'll be treated as subhuman as our society has forgotten what a second chance is and how to forgive.

Heinuos acts like this should never be given a second chance. Punishment may not make things better but it will temporarily freeze the offender from doing any sort of harm or it can eliminate it entirely if the crime at hand calls for it.
