After SOE announced that Free Realms would be shut down at March 30, many users went into denial and wanted to believe it was just some kind of cruel Joke and SOE would present a huge update or even Free Realms 2 on April 1st.

Nope, they didn't. It's all gone. Even the website is redirected.

I'm not even kidding. I followed the forums there for a bit and it was heartbreaking how some of the people there clung to this last straw of hope.

meh.. Magic: The Gathering – Tactics, Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures also closed yesterday and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is closing in July.. this is normal for SOE.. they also ended a few games in 2012.. like 5 in a month

I know, i just found it interesting how after weeks of announcement and reassuring some people still didn't believe it would happen.

Yeah it was announced it would close on March 31.

I played this game and even have the platinum for it. Kinda fun, made a few friends there.
