Final Fantasy’s 8 Triple Triad Card Game Could Be Coming To IOS

The ever popular card game Triple Triad from Final Fantasy 8 could be making its way to IOS according to a recent trademark made by Square Enix in the US. Fans have been asking for the card game on a mobile device for ages and it appears that they could be finally getting their wish.

We don’t know if ‘TRIPLE TRIAD’ was trademarked before by SE and whether this is just a re-filing due to expiry but the fact that they are trademarking it again seems to point to a direction that they plan to use it. The thing we do know is that the description of the trademark is definitely something for the mobile platform, let us know what you think and if you would be purchasing triple triad on the IOS.

That... actually makes sense. Triple Triad was a short card-based minigame, seems like a perfect fit for mobile.

helz ya i love me some TTC

although part of that fun was abusing the system to get a bunch of specific cards, almost eliminating the need to draw spells lol
