Jeez are people over-sensitive these days. I was picked on and made fun of for years for being the geeky nerdy type and I have never seen any articles are threads on it but say anything against gays, race, or women it is "disturbing". I do not condone bashing any group in a mean/abusive way but if it is all in good fun who cares? I mean seriously..... Women think men are pigs and men think women are "sissies". People seriously need to grow up.

I find the newer moderators are far too trigger-happy. Though I've noticed this has been the case during the honeymoon period of every new batch of moderators. Hopefully, they will mellow out in the future.

Tis one thing for someone to admit they think that Sony is the King of console gaming and another thing for someone else to refer to fans of a certain brand as Zealots.

Just think of a person walking down the street wearing a tshirt with a band they like on it, or someone walking down the street and being called a fanatic of said band by someone else, would you really think both of those are the same thing?

@Jay520 - Sorta agree with you, seen a thread asking what people thought of Capcom, someone replied he thought they were shit and got a ban for it... While I'd agree with that ban if it was a thread talking about a Capcom game then someone came in saying that the company was shit would be uncalled for but the thread title wasn't "what do you think of capcom (positive stuff only)" I was actually going to post a very similar comment regarding what I thought of them but seeing the ban made me not express the opinion requested by the OP of the thread, shame really.

I didn't realize that the word "pesky" was a ban worthy word. Also I wasn't even referring to anybody in particular. I have been banned for religious references before so this strikes me as "trigger happy" either way.

Obviously not by itself, Sales.   "Pesky Sony zealots" is what got you banned.  Not, "pesky" or "zealots" but "pesky Sony zealots."

Thats your opinion to hold. Its not gonna change anything, nor alter the course of anyones reality besides your own.
Same goes with using gay as an insult, it only changes your reality and feelings associated with it. But in the grander scheme of things, it doesnt matter.
As long as you are content with being a heterosexual male, and do not actively discriminate nor remove other peoples freedom in real life, do as you wish.
Your feelings on the matter do not really matter to anyone but yourself.
