Hentai pictues arriving in 3, 2, 1...

Keep hearing about this series, but never get round to trying one even though they sound like the kind of thing I might like. There seems to be tons of them though, how are they pumping them out so fast?

Day 1 purchase for me!

They need to start making these games for PS4...

I really wish they would make quote-unquote "realistic" graphic games, with the kind of vibrant colors and detail that you see in "cartoony" games. I really do. The gray and brown drabfest of most run-of-the-mill HD games these days, and games from wildly different development studios all striving for the same, generic, boring look, is incredibly lame.

The real world is not drab. It's often bright and colorful. I'd just like to see "real" looking games with more color and vibrance to them.

The art in this series is always jaw dropping but then I see an upskirt shot like that and shake my head...

Atelier Rorona (their first PS3 game) came out in 2009 (2.5 years after the PS3 came out).
So it could still take a couple of years for their first PS4 game to come out but my personal guess is that Atelier Shallie is their last PS3 game (at least in the Atelier series) since it now completed the Dusk trilogy. I doubt they'll start another one on the PS3.
The acquisition by Tecmo gave Gust access to better technology and middleware so I think the transition to the PS4 will be faster than it was from the PS2 to the PS3. The PS2 was a strong console in 2008-2009 and the PS3 wasn't.

It'd be cool if they'd port this to the ps4 as well =(, but whatever I'll just buy it on the triple.
