Forums - Sony Discussion - Dynasty Warriors 8 PS4 install size?

According to my PS4 it takes up 24 GBs but the DW8 box says the minimum is 11 MBs. I thought all PS4 games are required to install to the HDD in full. Was this simply overlooked?

Probably just overlooked. Either way, you could just get a hard drive.

That's odd. Copy paste of the PS3 box maybe?

That was my guess.

The game can be played after 11GB installed... while you play it the rest of the data is installed in background... so the minimum is 11GB.

I guess that is the case.

Except the box is saying 11MB.

Ohhhhhhh facepalm pic... sorry.

According to Gamefly DW8 requires 7 MBs on PS3.

DW8 Xtreme Legends requires 6 MBs.

It was not copied and pasted....

If I had to guess, it'll work with as little as 11 MB but it'll take more if more is available to make loading times quicker etc.

That is a good theory.

You need to fullfill the HDD before to make the test... maybe it works with 20GB free with longs loadtimes and texture popup.... so it is the minimum required to play it but if there are more available it will use to improve performance.

Yes, but from what I understand every PS4 game is required to install itself entirely to the HDD. That is as good a theory as any at this point though

AC4 also has something like that on the box, but it still fully installed. I think the wrong numbers on the back is something developers/publishers are simply overlooking.
