So I was recently looking into buying FFXIV because it does look like a great mmorpg and reviews for it have been great. However, I knew that my laptop is not really a power house so I wen't ahead and tested at canirunit.com to see if my laptop could run FFXIV.

So my laptop has all the minimum requirements to run the game. However, it doesn't meet the recommended specs because of my CPU and my dedicated video ram memory.

Here are some of my specs:

- AMD A8-4555M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

- Ram: 7.7GB

- Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit

- Video card: AMD Radeon HD 7600G with 512 MB of dedicated video ram

I'm not really an expert when it comes to PC/Laptops and all of their specifications. So I would really love it if vgcharterz could help me! Could my laptop run FFXIV since it does pass the minimum requirements but not the recommended requirements without lagging a lot???

Gonna be tough but depends on your preference/tolerance for resolution and FPS.

Have a look at the gaming benches of this laptop with the same APU.
