It's all thanks to Delsin's beanie. That thing is simply magical!

You get someone who has 0 interest in either product to do a comparison for a objective review.....or say, someone who has the rare ability of having no bias?

As said above, Value and top selling are not the same thing.

Too bad that it is cause otherwise if a product is selling like shit then it's clear that no customers see value in it. Values are defined by consumers, not some wishful thinking on the part of a journalist or some industry insiders.

lol I am aware of PS4 sales. Is it so hard to admit that $450 with expensive kinect and a $60 game provides alot of bang for buck? Seriously.....you can't even budge on this one thing?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

according to this week sales it's not to gamers

Have we really come full circle to the ancient times of the PS2 where any and all objective arguments can be responded with "PS sells more, your argument is invalid?" Would it hurt to just say "Huh MS is really putting the deals out there". lol

Huh MS is really putting the deals out there, too bad they gamers fail to see the values in them, i mean you get to play titanfall for free for one whole month and you get a camera, so sweet

Thank you! :)

That said, I didn't get why you shoehorned only playing Titanfall for a month... this ain't last gen, PS4 has a paywall too.

You can't claim that cause consumers also determine what's the best bang for a buck. Just cause I think iphones are trash for value doesn't mean that it doesn't have a lot of value. AMD fans keep hiding behind the perf/price when it's clear that Intel offers the better deal with their processors.

I obviously can budge on this one thing but I also want to rain on your parade for a bit. LOL

Well for some reason they don't tell you that you only get one free month with titanfall, which they include as a reason why the X1 is better value. But if you want to keep playing that free game you'll need gold in the future so the value is actually affected by it

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Exactly. But try explaining that to him. He actually gets sad when Microsoft sells less consoles than the competition. And no i'm not making it up, he has said this himself.

That's what I kinda like about him.

He'll turn the slightest thing into a console war and it will be nice to view to feast on seeing playstation and xbox fans stabbing each other apart because of it.

Your sig picture is a good visual example of what he does in fact lmao.

The Xbox One is now available in a bundled package with Titanfall, the most eagerly anticipated game for the console so far—and the retailers Walmart and Best Buy recently cut the price of the bundle to $450, from $500. Other retailers are jumping onboard with the price cut too, as you can now snag the bundle from Target and the Microsoft Store. Since Titanfall alone costs $60, in effect the Xbox One price drops to $390.

Xbox One's main competitor, the PlayStation 4, costs $400 but doesn’t come with a game bundled or a camera (the Xbox One comes with the Kinect camera). Buying a game along with the PS4 would bring the cost up to $460. If you wanted to add the PS4's camera, that adds another $60, bringing the total price up to $520. Doing the math shows that the Xbox One Titanfall bundle is actually a better value than PlayStation 4.

Not all retailers are currently offering the bundle at the discounted price, so this isn't an official price drop and it may be for a limited time only. If you’ve been waiting for the opportunity to grab an Xbox One but the price has held you back, you might want to act quickly.

It is an un-official hidden price drop from Microsoft (maybe temporary to counter Infamous release). It's a big obvious marketing technique.

Come-on guys, on Amazon.fr the 50$ promotion began the 21st of march, the day of Infamous release.

Also big retailers don't do simultaneously 50$ price cut during non-holiday period (followed by Microsoft store).

Don't be so gullible. Microsoft know that price cut is not good for long-term marketing so they hidden it behind "free game" and "retailer promotion" semantic. And it works apparently because half of people still believe it's not a Microsoft price cut.

Not if they're not available on you're preferred console of choice.
