Movies...I just can't get into shows.

I tried watching Game of Thrones and got bored of the first episode. Walking Dead also super boring...I just don't like that you have to invest hours and hours into a show for something interesting to happen, whereas in a movie the entire story is told is usually 2 hours or so.

I definitely prefer movies, but shows have improved so much in the last decade that they've almost caught up.

I will say, one thing I really don't like about many modern shows like Heroes and The Walking Dead, as overhyped as they are, is that most of the episodes are glorified filler, often not actually doing anything of significance for an entire episode, or in TWD's case several, and the show literally not really going anywhere concrete for an entire season even. I personally blame earlier shit like Lost for this.

I love certain older shows. But ultimately, while they can stuff more content into a drawn out show, I think for a lot of things, I prefer movies....so long as the movies are done WELL, and not just Hollywood bullshit.
