halo has already had some marketshare eaten up by call of duty and other shooters.  Another big shooter will take another small slice of the pie.  However, the core halo audience probably buy all these shooters anyway, so there will always be a market for halo...

I doubt you rationale. COD is a better pick up and play game.

Halo learning curve is steeper. Plus Halo sells consoles more than anything when it comes out.

thats funny, I feel the exact opposite about the games, but whatever.  It's not really hard to see that halo's marketshare has eroded somewhat.  Either through saturation of the franchise or from the shooter market as a whole. 

also, of course halo sells the most consoles, its the biggest exclusive shooter out there... not really sure what that has to do with what I said.  I did say Halo would always have a market, didn't I?  

Hmmm. Isnt Halo 4 the fastest selling Halo aligned for timeframe? Meaning it asnt eroded at all?

it just had a higher front load because of the larger install base.  It won't end up selling more than reach in the long run, so it will be 3rd best selling.  3>reach>4=sales decline.  Not huge, but it is there.  

Its currently tracking higher than any Halo, but with it being so close to XB1 release I do think it will tail off. Halo 5 on the other hand I half expect to be the best selling Halo ever. It will have a long time to sell while XB1 is going strong.

selnor rated Star Wars Kinect a 9/10, so Titanfall is one point better. Do you think that Titanfall is worse or as good as Star Wars Kinect? No? Then the 10/10 for Titanfall is definitely justified.

His Titanfall review makes your earlier conjecture hold. That is, soon games should be in 12-13+/10 range.

All those things make up the fun factor. If iit ran regularly at 20 fps the fun would be ruined.

This is my biggest issue with your review. If fun factor is made up of all of those things and the game got a 10/10, doesn't that mean every catagory is a 10

Graphics are a 10?

How can you give the first game in what's obviously going to be a growing franchise down the road a 10 /10? What are you going to give the sequel(s) if they do what most sequels do and blow the original away in every way. I'm all about being a fanboy of a console bro, but sometimes you gotta be honest. Very few games are perfect, and the ones that are don't come out within the first 6 months of a console generation. Just remember that XB1 will be getting far better games than the original Titanfall, down the road.
