That's like an 8th as much as the Wii sold in the same timeframe though.

Though of course it's an improvement! :) I hope they develop more games for this system, so I can enjoy more of it. 

Yea, I think Nintendo will do much better in 2014 compared to 2013. I do wish they released something in April like Beyonatta 2 or something to fill in that gap between DK and MK but oh well (not saying release something unfinished but something planned)

Lego City Undercover was the big launch for the quarter, along with Monster Hunter.

It's something I suppose. Hopefully Mario Kart 8 can up the baseline slightly as well throughout the summer so we don't have to see those horrendous figures again.

I think it's to be expected that we'll see slightly higher sales this year. I believe this will be the Wii U's peak year.
