feel sorry for week 1 titanfall bundle early adopters - dick move MS

Around the Network

Wow, piss off a whole bunch of people that just paid $400 for the Titanfall bundle. I wonder if some retailers will have to refund the $50 for those folks that paid full price just a week ago?

Sorry MS still not buying it, that thing should cost at least 100 less than the PS4, the hardware design and games that it current has it absolutely does not compensate the 450 price tag.

I just don't get this thinking.  Sure, if it isn't your cup of tea you won't buy it.

But there is no pretending it doesn't have more features than the PS4, better retail games right now, and a very pleasant aesthetic.

There is absolutely no reason, for what you get, this console should be cheaper than the PS4.  If all you care about is having 900p instead of 720p, or 1080p instead of 900p, then get a PS4.  But your not caring about some of the One's cool games and features doesn't suddenly mean they don't exist.

Actually it does. Just like you not caring about the features and games on PS4.

First of all, I do care about the features and games on PS4, being halfway through Infamous and loving it.

Though even if I did not care about the features and games on PS4, it wouldn't mean they are not there.  The PS4 can manage slightly higher resolutions and/or slightly more particle effects than the Xbox One.  The Xbox One can perform a variety of media functions, voice and sight navigation and interactions as a form of gaming input and social functions beyond what the PS4 can manage.

These are facts.  You might not care about them, and if you don't then you wont be purchasing an Xbox One.  But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be included in a pricing scheme.

Those are facts but they don't mean anything if you don't care for them.

If you care for Kinect and MS exclusive games $500 is more than worth it. If you don't care about Kinect and the games then not even $400 is worth it.

You're trying to put objective worth on things which is never a good thing to do. Worth was and will always be subjective. So it's absolutely valid for an individual to ignore certain features that they don't have an interest for. Like you're ignoring the objective worth of Knack right now! Which is bigger than all objective worths of the X1 combined.

You have this the wrong way around.  The original poster tried to put objective worth on things.  I have argued consistently that what is important to him, is not representative of the features that appear in each box.

What you've missed, is that the original poster presented his perceptions of value as fact, where they merely represented his opinion.

So you're correct, if you don't care about Kinect and the games then not even $400 is worth it.  But his not caring about them, does not mean they are not there for other gamers to consider

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Sucks for all the early adopters. They should have just come out with a SKU without Kinect, that would have been win win (wouldn't piss off the people that bought the system full price and MS wouldn't have to sell at a loss). They refuse to do that though. Ah well.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Nice... Now it's a little justifiable with a $50 difference.

I think its great news for MS, too bad for those that already has one.

Well that was fast. There's no denying now that the console is performing well beneath Microsoft's expectations.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Looks like a good sign thst UK has had a much better sales boost than other markets. The 30 pound pricedrop over there is now being done in America as well. XBONE has a good shot at taking NPD.

As I see it everyone here just talks about their opinion unless stated otherwise. You were the one calling him out as if he meant it was fact.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Only $50?! It is a less capable machine than PS4. It should retail for $350.
