I got tired with it after Brotherhood, which already felt a bit like milking. Then I got to play Revelations which pretty much sealed my stance on the series despite liking the game. Too must simply is too much.

Well, AC2 and Brotherhood were originally just one game. Large part of why Patrice Désilets quit.

If it did it in feudal Japan like everyone wanted then I would be so fucking eager. But right now I honestly don't even care. Black Flag did something fresh and exciting but it looks like they're back to their old boring roots again.

The franchise had its ups ( II and Brotherhood) and its downs ( Revelations and III), but overall it's an OK franchise..... I do feel like the it's getting milked which is why I am not really too excited for Unity.. Sorry, Ubisoft! ="(

It needs a break from the annual release cycle

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I'm sick of the series, and the last one I played was Brotherhood.

I'm tempted to buy Black Flag, but I might hold off depending on how Unity turns out.

I could definitely live without it. Having played and been disappointed with what it generally considered the best installment, I'm worried that the remainder of the games will be a chore.

I'll probably get through the other games, but they aren't high on my list. I'm most interested in IV since it seems to be something new and different.

After the horror that was Revelations and Assassin's Creed 3 I am completely done with this once great series. Ubisoft really dropped the ball on this one for me.

Still waiting for the semi-annually release. Love AC since the first game. Didn't enjoy AC3 but that was du to the setting mostly. I couldn't care less about the story of the historical protagonists though. I'm in it for the real story. I just hope they won't cut the real story even more :(

Would you come back if Ubisoft took the series back to it's roots? The rumors I've byeen hearing suggest that Unity is returning to series to it's original stealth and assassination premise.

That would be a step in the right direction but what I really want them to do is to stop making Desmond's ancestors the main focus in their games and give it to Desmond already. Sure, they could include his ancestors so he could learn about something but I feel like assassin's creed needs to stop relying on them so much. This series to me just feels like it'll never go into the modern era like it should had by now, it seems like they'll just keep recycling the same old crap and adding just a bit story so that they can make another one of these.

I guess I'm just really tired of Ubisolf milking this series to death.

I was done with Assassin's Creed after the first game. Some of it was kind of fun but overall it was terribly repetitive, I had no interest in a sequel.
