I thought it was about time that somebody would just come out with it already and considering the rest of you are seemingly cowards, I had to do it. So, you are very welcome for that.
Anyhow, the topic here is quite obvious from the title. Though, if you are a tad slow, I'll explain it to you in deeper detail. Us VGChartians (this is our official demographic term, by the way) have been abused since approximately the start of 2012. Many of the veteran members are very keen on this as they have personally seen the downfall of this site. However, In order to spell it out for you, I'll give you the problems in a nice list:
1. We had our precious Game DB taken away from us. This was the first domino in the long line of 'em. Taking away the DB automatically made the sales part of this site not as nice as it was. Also, the DB Admins were out of their job. A cruel thing, I must say.
2. We've been stuck with this form of VGC for awhile now. A couple months of this neon green and black layout was enough, but a couple years? Come on, that's just inhumane.
3. Constant bugs are popping up and no one seems to care. Just recently we had a huge problem with the homepage of this site loading as slow as frozen molasses thawing and then rolling down the empire state building, when it's usually just as slow as molasses rolling down a medium sized rock. I've got to say, VGC really outdid itself with this one.
No, that's not all, but trust me, you wouldn't want to sit here for a couple days reading that list. Anywho, fellow members of VGC, what say you? Do you think something needs to be done about all these problems? Do you think ioi needs to visit us peasants more than once a year? I certainly do. I know I personally have a love like for this site and I'd hate to see it in shambles for much longer.
