??? Nobody said bundle with WWHD/NSMBU. Im talking MK8 only, they wont do it. Its either going to be $250 by itself or bundle for $300. They are taking a loss already, they need profits. Why you think there isnt a price cut on 3DS yet despite the last one being almost 3 years ago!

I think Nintendo should/are gonna bundle mario kart 8 for 300 dollars people will buy it bundled at that price ...especially those on the fence about thinking about buying a wii u ....I have a feeling mario kart 8 is gonna sell like crazy ..just my thoughts

during the GCN days I remember seeing many different bundles such as the Metroid Bundle, Zelda Collector Bundle, Mario Kart DD Bundle... And Nintendo seems to be doing the same thing with the 3DS, such as the Pokemon X/Y 3DS that came during the game launch.

I really hope they do it, not only for their pockets but also for the online community of MK in general, but with Nintendo we never know... And the price drop is unlikely at the moment, maybe when we reach 20k/week it will happen.

I'm hoping it's $199 with game in the US before Xmas. I honestly think that'll make some serious headway for them.

In UK terms, it's already £239.99 for a Wii U with Zelda or NSMB U. However again £199.99 with Mario Kart, I think it'll shift some serious units.

A $299 Mario kart 8 bundle seems more realistic to be honest.

He said they be losing an additional $60 by bundling MK8 in, but that'd only be the case if WWHD/NSMBU were left in aswell. I'm simply suggesting MK8 replaces NSMBU/WWHD as it's own bundle, so there's no additional cost there, not moreso than WWHD/NSMBU atleast.

The 3DS is not selling worse than Gamecube, but it has seen 2 remodels already compared to the Wii U's 0, so not a relevant comparison!

They'll definitely bundle it sometime if not right away, but they won't drop the price another $50. They're already losing money with each unit sold as it is.

Not gonna happen until much later... This is one of the best system sellers that Nintendo has... Having a price cut when it launches + bundle it will = unnecessary loss... If they are smart, they would wait till 2015 to do a price cut cause many people have been waiting for MK8 and SSB to get a wiiU and this is their chance. The only way I see it being $250 is if X1 lowers its price down to $300 or $350

Have you not seen the quarterly reports? There wont be $250 and MK8 together. They didnteven do a SM3DW bundle for $300. WW HD is an upgraded game that took 7months to make and NSMBU is an updated NSMBWii. Those games arent even close to MK8. They are losing way tomuch money on wiiu. Why cut it to $250 and bundle it with probably the biggest game (or 2nd) on WiiU?

We'll be lucky if they even do a price cut to $250 before Summer ends.

Well yeah, I'm sure they'll atleast do that, but unless Nintendo plans on never doing a price cut again, then MK8 is the absolute best time for one!
