I've been reading through some of the reviews, seems to be that it's an inFamous game. 80 seems about right.

O.P. 79 is a flop and 80 isn't? What?

P.S. Metacritic shows the game at 80 but I just did the math and it comes out to 81.375...So that would be an 81...why isn't the Metacritic average different from the actual average?

Refresh the meta page.

But that's after 86 reviews. After 40 reviews the average was still 81. The current avearage (with 46 reviews) is actually 81.695 which would normally be shown as an 82.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Lol, close to what i expected. It's losing points because apparently some reviewers want pseudo-intellectual stuff in every game and seem threatened by smug, cool male characters, while everything that truly matters is getting praised. Fine with me!

Hoping it will land at 80 or higher.

Ouch on that Rev3 review. Inb4 people calling Adam Sessler a joke.

Adam Sessler was the guy who exclaimed about how games should be 1080p/60fps as a standard. At SGC, when he heard about devs saying "We're gonna do amazing things. Games at 1080p and 60fps..." he retorted, "do you want to starve doing your job? We're buying these new consoles; they better have 1080p/60fps" and then when "Resolutiongate" came out....that just didn't matter anymore to him, apparently.

Or how about him saying that because with PS4, you're gonna have to get PS+, making the console $460 (he said $460, not $450), so the price between the PS4 and XBone actually isn't that much? Yea, let's just ignore the fact that people will get XBL, making the XBone $560, if you want to do an apples to apples comparison. Adam Sessler = joke.

And I say this, irrespective of his Infamous review.

Wow, is this what people call a flop? Stop with the clickbait already!!

So, I'm not a Sony loyalist, so I'm wondering what this talk about Adam Sessler is all about? Only weird score I've seen from him is Forza which got a 5/5....

Sessler has a small but noticable Xbox Bias. He doesn't outright white knight for MS, but he frequently tries to level the playing field between Xbox and Playstation, microsoft apologist etc..., and so during the DRM fiasco he was one of the journalist saying MS wasn't so much in the wrong, we should let them explain themselves, drm always on might be a good thing we  don't know, and we don't know what sony would do. This is was before the revesal. After it, he didn't even mention it and he's done the same for all the other GateFiascos.

He was just as Biased last gen but since he was an american journalist and the 360 was holding its own in the U.S, it was more stealthly than it is now.

He also barely even acknoledges Nintendo. So Adam Sessler has little credibility now a days, back then he was actually good at his job if a bit biased.

He's just running on legacy now.

I've only seen him on rev3, so I have nothing else to compare with. But I know he had some critizism to dish out to Ryse as wel... What else has he said/done to make him biased? I'm quite curious.

But I've noticed rev3 doesn't cover anything Nintendo actually. No Pokemon or Zelda review for 3DS. No Mario or Donkey Kong review for Wii U...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

It's a weighted average, so they give reviews from sites that have a higher popularity a bit more weight than other, lesser known sites.

Otherwise Quarter to Three would have an even bigger impact

Pretty good way of doing it. It does lend a bit too much "power" to the bigger sites, but it's good to know that click bait from obscure reviewers aren't as damaging.

I don't like that at all...Just because a site is more popular doesn't make them any more reliable. God I hate Metacritic...

All true, plus he gave TF a 5/5 and not once touched on the frame rate issue or res of it but to him 1080p/60fps is the standard..

I think it's not  a bad system, but it should be more transparent.  The fact that the weights given to different sites are unknown is what bothers me more than anything about the current system.

Anyone had their mind changed because of the reviews?

Kind of... I am adding exclusive games to each side of the balance to help me choose which console to buy in a few months, Infamous goes to the PS4 side, but now it weights a little less than before because of the reviews.
