Forums - Gaming Discussion - Borderlands 2 Vita (gameplay video)

I read the previews and was expecting horrible frame rate. I saw the drops, and they do drop to the single digits, but i honestly was expecting worse. Considering I already play this game and plan to play it on the train while i commute, i can live with it. i gotta see way more though

So Sony is the one putting in the development costs for the port they don't even get it running at a stable framerate. What's the fucking point Sony? Yet another piece of shit port on the Vita. Not a good port. Not something that actually runs well. Just something thrown together that hardly anyone wants because they already own it on PS3 or 360, and now less people want because it runs like ass.

The wasted money on this development could have been better spent on companies like Namco, Square Enix, Sega, etc, localizing their damn games for people who can't read or speak Japanese.

Oh look, another reason to play all these ports on other systems (If you havn't already)... Not only do u get better graphics, but also better framerate... Sony really needs to go back to "How to not fuck up a handheld" school

This is why Nintendo doesn't bother funding ports that companies didn't want to make. You not only have to pony up for the game to exist, but there's apparently no guarantee that it exists well.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

From what I saw of that vid, it looks great to me.......... I saw like 1 hickup, but it did not look too bad. However, the load time between levels was way too long.

I think thi is Sony's and 2K's way of saying sorry for no Bioshock Vita.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

I think it´s pretty decent for Vita. Obviously it can´t match other versions but for me it looks good enough to enjoy the game on Vita.

I doubt it's costing much at all, but i agree it's a complete waist of time. Were it a relatively new game i could understand, but most who wanted it already have it, and the few people who do still want it now likely have access to a better version on the 360/PS3/PC :/

I really wish they would fund a small team that specialized in localization. The cost of translating a game is pennies compared to making one, and Sony easily have the capabilities to then publish those games (with little risk due to the lack of cost required in the process). It's so cheap, so easy, and there is an obvious market for it :/ Even if it doesn't bring in huge profits, the long term gain from capturing the primary chunk of that market is quite valuable (especially since those in the west who like JRPG's and the like are often among the more dedicated type of gamers).

Looks ok I guess. Hopefully they can patch the game to help with performance issues. Either way I'm still going to buy it.
