Very good review! Very informative indeed.

I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't have a single player mode, so I might skip it entirely or buy it cheap later on...

Thanks, I've been getting feedback from several forums, so I might do a backlog PC game review next month to refine my approach to reviewing PC games

If you do, keep us posted!

Well, I already purchased it digitally on Steam just an hour ago in preparation for next month's PC game review.  Let's hope I do this one better!

Edit:  You COULD just subscribe, and then you'll know when I do the next PC game review... lol

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Really good review. Most people get fixated on the score part. There is more to a review than that. Sometimes i check the reviews after i've already played or watched the entertainment product. If it is well written, then you end up getting interesting perspective.

Oh god not this again.......

.. just kidding, nice review, definitely needs the green screen behind you eventually though, looks too sparse as is.

Hmm if a game can give you many hours then its worth the price tag. Something i notice with todays generation of gamers is games with replay value isnt taken to account anymore. Pac -Man and Tetris back in the day were worth every dollar becasue most games you finish back then you would never play again. Titanfall will last you longer then most games, infact i see most hardcore gamers playing this game for 50+ hours which is 5x the size of the TLOU.

I did enjoy your review, but replay value is a big thing for me when it comes to games and Titanfall at this moment is the best game for that. Its not perfect but its in the GREAT basket for me.

Having said that, I've reviewed Titanfall, and want to get as much feedback from the PC gaming community about what they think is important in a PC game review!  Your feedback is appreciated!  And without further ado:

PC centric features is important to me, mostly on the more technical side like eyefinity, fov, dedicated servers, that sort of thing.

I've skipped Titanfall personally, only because graphically, it makes my eyes bleed and EA.
It's also overpriced compared to what you truly get... $90AUD for a multi-player, online-only, 12 player game with last decade graphics? I've seen source mods offer more for free...

That's my opinion anyhow, which I am entitled to, other people may enjoy it thoroughly. :)

Ah, so available graphics settings are important to you, got it!  I'll keep that in mind, makes a lot of sense.  I've been so used to brute forcing my way through graphics that I no longer worry about settings, I usually just turn them all maxed out unless that results in problems.  That's probably why I wasn't thinking about graphics settings, haha

Just an FYI, it does have FOV settings ;)

It also has Eyefinity support. (I did try out the Beta.)
But even running the game at 7680x1440, with all settings on max... Horrible.

But you get my point, not all PC games support what should be standard features such as that, ridicule them if they don't!

For me, the most bitter pill to swallow with Titanfall on PC is having to use Origin. Origin is a huge pile of crap, I've spent more time fiddling with it to make it work than I have actually playing games in it. Compared to Steam, it feels like driving a 1960's Fiat compared to a modern and comfortable Lexus (that also provides significantly better mileage).

I don't care much either for Origin, but compared to Ubisoft's uDon'tPlay, it's gold plated in comparison.
I have had Origin crash, loose my purchases, remove my games, endless unable to connect errors and give me endless headaches, so I know how you feel.

Unfortunatly, my most waited game this year is probably Dragon Age 3 and other than doing the illegal thing, I will get it on Origin thus having Dragon Age 1+2 on Steam and the third on Origin.

All are far better than Games for Windows Live. :P At-least they haven't prematurely been shut down leaving gamers with games they literally won't be able to play! :P

That first line really did seem in character for you, though, hahaha

Yea, I've been looking at options, haven't found a "badass" poster yet, nor a small projector that would work with my netbook right there (they're all big ones, or the pocket ones are for iPhones, and I have an LG G2...).

Edit: I've also been looking for cheap software, to perhaps "put" something there in the way of a small video feed box (my current software cannot do this).
