BONUS J_ALLARD LUDICROUS SPEED TITANFALL TIP!

Greetings, pilots! Been a long time since the last update. Good news to anyone reading the thread, the Xbone version of the game + all DLC is on sale in the marketplace for less than $13. That's damn cheap for the best game we have seen this gen. But back to the newest tip.

Todays tip is going to be titled "Fun with Nuclear Ejections". One of the most awesome things to do in Titanfall when inside of a Titan, is to eject from it. This allows you to escape danger from other attackers, and continue the fight on foot. It was one of the first, most vital elements of the game when Respawn was designing it. So what could make that ejection better? How about leaving a nuclear blast behind? It's like that perk from CoD4 that we all fucking hated unless we were using it. Martyrdom.

Basically when your Titan is beaten and bruised and near death, you jettison out and leave a nasty surprise for the enemies. They can tell its coming, and have a decent amount of time to get away, but Titans are slow. There's not a feeling in the game quite as embarassing as boosting over to a doomed Titan to try and get a melee kill, only to have him nuke eject and you are sitting there out of boost with your thumb up your ass. Like these 3 guys I killed with one nuclear ejection:

LOL. Notice one guy boost towards me only to find out he's done fucked up. It was actually a nice ambush as I was careless about my surroundings. Also, I believe I had the Massive Payload burn card activated, which increases the range of the blast. My favorite part about the nuke blasts is even if you're outside of the range of the actual explosion, there is an area outside of the blast where you get hit with massive electronic damage to your shield, kind of like an EMP.

And now for the main tip. Nuclear explosions hurt like hell when an enemy explodes. But when a teammate explodes? You don't feel a thing. Use this to your advantage. I cannot imagine a more deflating feeling in the game than hopping on a Titan, throwing that inner guard off to expose the Titan's mechanical innards, and then BAM YOU'RE DEAD. Observe.

Yeah, he died. So remember, use your friendly nuclear blasts to your advantage. Doesn't have to be a pilot rodeoing your Titan. If you're engaged in a Titan fight and notice a low health teammate, steer the fight towards it. Chances are the other guy will be so concerned with you, he won't notice the other guy exploding until it's too late. Kind of like this!

Good luck, pilots.

Hi Pilots! Yes, I still fucking play Titanfall! You should, too.

So in Titanfall when the match is won, the game doesn't just end like it does in other MP shooters. Titanfall gives the losing team one last chance to stick their tongues out at the team who just beat them, and the winning team gets one more crack at embarrassing the losing team. I speak of course, of the Evac.

A spot is designated on the map to both teams and a timer starts for the drop ship to arrive. The losing team must reach and board the ship to leave the match and get a little bonus. The winning team tries to kill pilots before they board or, failing that, destroy the drop ship itself. That requires multiple Titans going HAM on the drop ship though, it's got serious armor.

So anyway, there is an achievement in the game tied to this Evac period, titled "I Killed Them All". You simply must single handedly kill every member of the losing team trying to evac. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on Titanfall and have come oh so close a few times but I always miss by one kill. Well boys and girls, my penis will be hard for the rest of the day because this morning I got it.

Now, I got lucky that two of the guys left right before Evac, leaving only four pilots. I had already punched one while in my Titan and shot the other one before this video picks up.

I checked the score board to see who was left and that's when I saw I had a chance. I wanted to kill the guy in the Titan before he could eject and launch himself towards the drop ship, when the other remaining guy started shooting at me. After I shot him I got pretty excited, but was still able to crack off a Gooser to get the achievement. Just some small DLC stuff left to clean up and after 500+ hours I will finally have all of them.

GOTG.

Hey Pilots, have you ever been cruising along in your Titan and get rodeo'd by an enemy? Before you disembark or pop off your electric smoke, try this J_Allard Titanfall tip!

Stop moving and crouch down, then look at the ground. This simulates the act of you hopping out of your Titan. Your enemy, 9 times out of 10, will then jump backwards off your Titan. You then dash forward, turn around, and obliterate them!

Oh if only you could then see the look on their stupid face!

You're welcome! Thanks for reading.

Bumping my own thread from my other account four and a half years later to say that yes, this J_ALLARD TITANFALL TIP still works
