So, any of you folks have one / have access to one? If so what's the most interesting thing you've printed (pics welcome).
If theres any decent interest in this i'll edit this op to be a much more interesting/helpful/etc style op.
Yeah I'm big on 3D printing. Most of the time I just use shapeways since nothing beats their price and quality.
The only thing I can share about printing was a custom Wii controller for developmentally disabled kids. Some of them didn't have the ability to play games due to the Wii's motion and complex button layout, so I built a very large gamepad designed to fit in the kids lap. Only had A and B buttons. The motion controls were removed and placed on a hat, so that the kids could still control that aspect of the game.

Nice, we have an Objet1000 at the office and the core team are all using Replicator 2 and Replicator 2X units at home for early prototyping, I have mine setup next to my feet right now, unlimited supply of filament and all the spare parts we need so in my downtime i actually mess about the making prosphetic hands and RC stuff!
