As interesting as a new movie based on The Incredibles is... SCREW YOU Pixar.

What an awful waste of talent to spend even a minute on the garbage that the Cars series is. Appalling. Their fall from grace has been confirmed.

Blame Bob Iger. He might be worse than Michael Eisner.

With Tangled, Wreck It Ralph, and now Frozen, Disney Animation Studios has surpassed Pixar in my mind. They've really stagnated since releasing Toy Story 3 (which was masterful), with Brave and Monsters University being fine films (nothing wrong with them, but they could have been so much more, especially Brave), and Cars 2 being a bad joke.

The Incredibles ranks as one of my favorite Pixar films (That, Up, and Toy Story 3 are my trifecta), so I really hope they can do it justice. It's just that, with their current stagnation and their insistence to push Cars down our throats... I'm actually having doubts. Hopefully they can prove these doubts wrong.

Cars is Pixar's highest earning movie in terms of merchandise, it brought in over $10 billion before even taking into account the money it made through box office and DVD/Blu Ray. That's why they keep making them.

Agreed, with Tangled, Wreck it Ralph, and Frozen, Disney has retaken the crown that they lost to Pixar and Dreamcast after The Lion King. Dreamcast is in 2nd now imo, Pixar has fallen to 3rd place. Monsters University was a step in the right direction for them, as is the Incredibles 2 and Finding Dory, but Cars 3 is a step backwards. 

I can understand the confusion, coming from you, but it's DreamWORKS

Hmmm. :-/ I preferred it when Pixar didn't do sequels besides their mainstay series. On the other hand, Brad Bird is coming back for The Incredibles 2, so it's not all bad!

No hatred from me, I liked Cars 2, which is way more than I expected from the trailers, and I will watch Cars 3 once the 3D BR is available at the rental service I use.

And the Incredibles 2 ofcourse is pretty fantastic news. I'm always a bit vary with sequels (I usually prefer part 1), but I think I'll watch that one at the cinema.
