I disagree. There's a number of issues I had with Skyward Sword, particularly the hand-holding, motion control being shoe-horned into every single thing it possibly could be, the repetitive Imprisoned fights, the most obnoxious partner in the history of the franchise (which is saying something), and above all else, the ridiculous amount of fetch quests in the game. From tad-tones, to pieces of temple keys, to your own stuff after the game decides to steal it all from you in an attempt to pad itself out...whatever good existed in Skyward Sword was nullified for me by just how tedious it was to play.

Skyward Sword was an excellent game, no doubt. Brilliant dungeon design; amazing, responsive motion controls; some really clever boss battles; and an origin story worthy of the franchise.

Yet it's not perfect. The game is a little too straightforward and a little too easy. I'd rank Majora's Mask and Wind Waker ahead of it.

I played TP before Ocarina of Time and I can tell you it's completely the opposite. 

I played first OoT. TP was a walk in the park with zero surprises.

I'm not telling is a bad game, but it's clearly an attemp to copy Ocarina of Time. Hell, it was developed with Ocarina of Time in mind. And game is easy as fuck. A quarter heart as damage compared to a full heart (and even 2) at Skyward Sword. Easy bosses, and repeat the same pattern for just 3 times.

Nothing as the amazing Ghirahim battles in SS. Or Twinrova in OoT. Or Goth from MM.

The argument I rebutted was clearly very in depth. It inspires me.

its been a while since ive played it i just remember getting pissed at the spirit world parts collecting.

the dungeons had little action. even when there was action it was a puzzle because of the stupid motion controls

Skyward Sword has a boring overworld. TP's overworld isn't perfect, but for a GC game it's pretty darn good! 

The Silent Realms made Skyward Sword unplayable for me. I quit after getting to the third or fourth Silent Realm. I have an anxiety disorder, so gameplay like that is not fun at all for me. 

TP had cool bosses in my opinion. Ocarina of Time's bosses were bland and boring(understandable for the N64 hardware). 

Most of the Zelda bosses are easy and repeat the same pattern. I'd definitely like to see more Mr. Freeze like boss batlle(Arkham City) in Zelda, but doesn't seem likely...

I can easily imagine how Twinrova would've been an amazing boss battle in 1998, but now it's just an ok boss in my opinion. I had more fun with the Stallord boss. 

Ocarina of Time had good dungeons, but so did TP. I never really struggled on any dungeon with Ocarina of Time. The Water Temple was very easy(except one room where you had to kill all sea creatures to open a hatch, but I didn't realize that before I looked it up lol).
