Even with 2,1 million for Shadowfall, my point remains. Killzone is a much bigger franchise with about the same units sold per installment (2-3 million). inFamous 1 apparently wasn't good enough for inFamous 2 to sell more or equal (but about 50% less). How are you guys ever assuming this game is going to sell between 4-7 million? It doesn't make any sense. Just think logically for one second, please. |
you do realize infamous 2 data on the site are incomplete, right?
KZ shadow fall, within the space of 4 months, sold almost as much as KZ3 did lifetime, and its safe to assume it will break the 3 million mark and has a good chance of reaching 4 million. it sold over 300k this year at retail so far. Killzone shadow Fall will easily be the best Selling Killzone game released so far.
so why is it so hard to think that a franchise (infamous), that sells 2m+ with each game, can reach 4 million when another franchise (Killzone) is doing the same. also consider that launch window games usually have long term legs and sell quite well. look at MotorStorm or Resistance. Motorstorm sold almost 4 million and sold 4.2 million. and they were both launch window tittles on the PS3, and we all know the PS4 is selling much, much better.
as i said in my previous post, if infamous SS sells 4 million it will be considered a massive success for Sony and Sucker Punch, im not saying it will happen, but saying its impossible is well, as you said in your first post about sony fans, is quite delusional.
