Not sure what I'd do with them but I was shocked to see Lightning Returns on sale for $49.99 at Wal-Mart last night. I haven't even opened the copy I bought on day one yet and it's dropping in price.

Didn't the development team for FFXIII make a lot of previous mainline Final Fantasy games?

I think they should be promoted, developing every mainline Final Fantasy game from now on.

Convert them into a CGI studio since that's the only think they can do.
SE needs to hire either some fresh blood or old employees, Sillicon Studio for example have proven themselves able to create great JRPGs with the quality of the old Final Fabtasies, why not let them use the FF license? They could even let them make one on the 3DS where the bar of breaking even is really low compared to other platforms.

Split the team up. Put Toriyama exclusively on mobile game development.

Lol! Hater in the house. 13 in my opinIon is on my top fivelist of greatest games ever made. I mean the game to me was perfect. The battle system, story, character's,and music were all new to me. I loved the shit outta the 13th installment.

.... KH is a series about a bunch of Disney characters from different franchises and worlds teaming up with Final Fantasy characters.

Convoluted fan fiction is what it's always been.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I would probably just keep them making Final Fantasy games.

Since being part of Square Enix i'd care less about my vision of what Final Fantasy should be... and more about making money.

FFIII cleared around 7 Million copies which is actually really good.

13 X2 cleared 2.5 with a bunch of reused assets,

Lighting Returns is nearly at a million.


Internet anger aside... it seems like a cash cow... and a wide improvement over 12.

It's sales aren't that much worse then 10 despite 10 having a ton of advantages.

 

I mean, it's not like SE just kept turning out FF13 sequels to fuck with people.

I'd be surprised if FF15 ends up outselling it.
