Man, the original, on the DREAMCAST looks and probably plays better (you can just go around in the whole city as you wish, driving through parks and shopping malls!).

I guess I should just be happy that Crazy Taxi is even getting a new game and not forgotten/ignored like so many of my other favorite Sega franchises. It is doing some of the things on my Crazy Taxi wishlist (custom cabs and drivers) but I just have a hard time looking forward to another on-rails mobile game. I can't imagine it feeling like the real deal without the ability to find the best routes for each new fare.
The fact that its F2P doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in me either =(
The game looks cool, some nice graphics have been employed therein, but the gameplay only feels like any other racing game. From what can be seen in the trailer, the car does not get damaged no matter how many times it rams against other cars. Updates should really bring some reality into this game!
