i think its possible , since it seems capcom needs some money. also would be another exclusive for my xbox one :)

I highly doubt this would happen if they thought RESI 6 sold badly and it didn't but in their eyes in did then why the HELL would they make it an Xbox One exclusive, not even PS4 would make sense.

They're best hope is a glorious Multiplatform release assuming they care about those sales in the long run.

1). Step 1: make bad games
2). Step 2: keep making bad games, but go exclusive for 1, single platform
congratulations, you have now killed a franchise!

Or they do want money. Remember Microsoft has lots of expendable cash and they know that they need major exclusives to sell the Xbox One, both in Japan and worldwide. 

Don't they wanted to sell the xbox division some time ago? If that's the case I don't see them paying for a game like Resident Evil. It would be stupid for part of Capcom though, they would make a lot more money with the game being multi.

It was 1.2 million by the end of March, not 1.4, and Capcom announced that they had already passed 1 million a few weeks ago. Remember, Vgchartz only tracks physical copies, not digital. Dead Rising 3 should easily pass 1.2 million by the end of March, those buying the Titanfall bundle will likely pick up other X1 exclusives as well, including DR3. 

Yes I remember (except the 1.2 million).  I just dont' feel like it is a financial succes;..They barely will reach their goal.  But ok this is a rumor I hope it is something else and less zombie like...   We already have so many of those type of games..
